Pennsy Power III is the final book to the set. This 512 paged book ties together the first two books of this set. Vol. III includes information that was not included in the first volume covering the pre-1900's. This book came into being because of the desire to complete the story of the vast and diverse types of power owned by the Nation's largest railroad. Equipment not covered in the first two volumes were: pre-1900 locomotives, motor cars, buses, trucks, airplanes and boats. In addition to full coverage in these areas, this book has large chapters on steam, electric, and diesel locomotives.
